Something ridiculously fun is happening this summer.

Okay, so…an interesting thing has been happening lately.

People keep commenting on the branding and overall vibe of my other publication, Homebody(ish) Magazine, and saying things like, “This feels like a masterclass in branding.”

And every single time someone says that, my brain goes, “Hey…wait a second.”

Because the truth is, creating intentional publications is one of my favorite parts of Substack. Above ALL the Substacky things I help with, creating an actual EXPERIENCE is the most gratifying.

A publication with personality.
A recognizable mood.
A cohesive visual identity.
A place people remember.

Go take a good gander at Homebody(ish) Magazine and you’ll see what I’m talking about. There is a reason people relentlessly rave about the vibe over there.

And since summer is traditionally slower for client work, I’ve decided to do something a little more creative, frivolous, and just plain FUN.

This July and August, I’m opening two live Zoom cohorts for a brand new 4-week experience called:

BRANDING BONANZA 😆

(Yes, that is currently the official working title and I’m quite attached to it.)

This will NOT be growth-related. It’s a creativity and branding masterclass for people who want their Substack to actually feel intentional instead of looking like they assembled it during a power outage.

We’ll cover things like:

• creating a recognizable publication vibe
• branding that actually reflects your personality
• layout and reader experience
• visual cohesion and consistency
• navigation and organization
• homepage design ideas
• publication “energy” and atmosphere
• making your Substack feel memorable and alive

Each cohort will run for 4 weeks with one live Zoom session per week.

NOTE: This is not a “beginner” class. I would like participants to be somewhat familiar with both Substack and Canva (or a graphics platform of their choice).

I want this to feel collaborative, creative, and inspiring…not like a giant webinar where everyone silently eats watermelon off-camera.

I genuinely think this is going to be one of the most fun things I offer all year.
