writers weren’t put on this earth to split atoms

Translation: You should be writing your newsletter, not fiddling with tedious tasks.

The internet is screaming at us to be more productive but no one’s stepping up and saying, “Here, let me take the dirty work off the table for you!”

ENTER: Your Substack virtual assistant

You may know me from my Substack

BUT HAVE YOU MET MY NERDY SIDE YET?

It’s the quiet part of my soul that spent twenty minutes aligning my headshot with this text. And making sure all of this looks good on a laptop and a phone.

Let’s just say I love fiddling with details. Thank your lucky stars that somebody does because Substack is riddled with tedious little bits and pieces!

Now you have a person for that!

Backends are in the back for a reason.

You belong out front in the *spotlight* where your readers are!

Unstack substack and STEAL your TIME BACK

Throw me a list of chores which may or may not include these:

Branding Packages (Canva)

Because let’s face it…Unsplash is tired and UN-customizable. I already pay for a Canva Pro account. Let’s use it for the greater good and brush up the appearance of your Substack.

Tagging Your Archives

Tags act as categories and they’re crucial for maintaining law and order in your publication! If you haven’t been adding them from the start, it’s a huge job to travel back in time and dig in.

Serial Chapters

Substack publishes in descending order by default. If you’re writing memoir / serial chapters and need them displayed in proper ascending order, I can set that up for you.

Post Migration Between Platforms

Substack, Medium, blogs…OH MY! If you’re cross-posting between writing platforms it can be a huge chore to migrate content back and forth. Let go of the reins and let me do that for you.

Content Management

Do you write your drafts in Word or Google docs? Send them on over and I’ll set them up in your Substack drafts and schedule them to publish on dates and times specified by you.

Author Website / Landing Page

Built on Squarespace. A custom landing page allows readers to find your Substack and all your published works in one cohesive web space. I can knock it off your list this week!

Link Spreadsheets

This is only a huge job ONCE. Then it’s just maintenance. It’s infinitely useful to keep in your back pocket for when you need to pop previous post links into your new content. << Very important!

Monthly Stats Analysis

Each month I’ll sort and parse your most-read posts, highest engagement, most new free & paid subs, etc. You’ll glean tons of intel and a clear way forward from this monthly exercise
